This Privacy Policy describes how Hero Habits ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the Hero Habits mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service.

• Account information — If you create an account, we collect your email address to identify you and sync your data across devices.
• Streak data — Habit names, check-in history, streak counts, and settings you configure in the app. This is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in, synced to our database (Supabase).
• Usage data — We do not use third-party analytics SDKs. No behavioral tracking or advertising identifiers are collected.

2. Guest Mode

You may use Hero Habits without creating an account ("Guest mode"). In Guest mode, all data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To sync your streaks and settings across your devices (authenticated users only).
• To deliver push notifications reminding you to check in — only if you grant permission. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Apple Sign In — Optional sign-in method. Apple Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign In — Optional sign-in method. Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

• Authenticated users — Your data is retained until you delete your account. You can request deletion at any time (see Contact below).
• Guest users — Data lives on your device only. We have no copy of it.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Hero Habits is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
